Up until the early 20th century, inhabitants included farmers and traders working in the neighboring valleys leading to Parma and Piacenza. Today Corsiglia is inhabited primarily in the spring, summer and fall by families and retirees that enjoy quiet village life, good air quality, spring water, and the outdoors.
